Co-Curricular Dance and Drama provide our students with the opportunity to express their faith and creativity.
Co-Curricular Dance is taught at É«½äÖ±²¥ in a culturally engaging, encouraging and Christ-centred atmosphere. We are deliberately counter-cultural in the selection of age appropriate music, choreography and costuming.
Co-Curricular Drama engages students in a creative process of sharing, developing and expressing emotions and ideas. Our staff create a safe and inspiring environment for students to express their creativity and to develop their skills.
Students with a high standard of dance technique are invited to audition for our eisteddfod troupes. These troupes perform at a variety of dance eisteddfods and also at school assemblies. Rehearsals are during lunchtimes and before school in our dance studios.
Our co-curricular dance and drama program are offered under the umbrella of the É«½äÖ±²¥ Dance Academy.
The Dance Academy is an after-school program offering the most popular styles of dance, as well as Musical Theatre and Drama. Styles we are currently offering:
All classes are taught by Christian teachers. All classes are held after school in our dance studios during term time. We welcome students from Prep to Year 12 from É«½äÖ±²¥ and surrounding schools. Students work towards performing in the end of year concert.
