Aldi launch rejuvenating LED face masks loved by celebs for a fraction of the price – RSVP Live

With autumn on its way, many of us will be thinking about how to protect our skin as best we can.

And while old-fashioned sheet masks used to be part of our skin routine in the past, these days there is something far more contemporary available.

If you are a fan of Victoria Beckham or the Kardashians you will definitely have noticed the appearance of LED face masks on their Instagram feeds of late.

And while all the top celebs love the masks thanks to their ability to rejuvenate the skin, they can be pretty pricey and have been out of reach of us mere mortals until quite recently.

Which is why we were delighted when we spotted a Visage LED face mask on Aldi’s website this week.

The Aldi LED face mask is available in store from Sunday, August 28th.
The Aldi LED face mask is available in store from Sunday, August 28th.

The German retailer is offering their version of the mask for just €54.99. Considering that they can cost up to €2000, we think it’s safe to say that’s a pretty good deal.

The rechargeable mask exposes the skin to different wavelengths of light, including red, blue and green which penetrate beneath the skin to aid with complexion.

It is believed that the different colour LEDs may benefit different skin issues, with the blue light helpful for rosacea and the red light good for cell renewal.

The Aldi website explains the benefits, saying: “Soothe and relax your skin using the three therapeutic modes available with this LED face mask. Achieve that effortless glow and keep your skin looking at its best.”

If you are interested in getting your hands on your very own LED mask, they will be available in Aldi stores from Sunday, August 28th.
