Not too long ago, Barbie debuted its Pat McGrath doll--and now Mattel’s Barbie brand is teaming up with UK beauty company 7th Heaven for a face mask collection.
The vegan, certified cruelty-free face masks are in the cutest pink packaging, and “encourages wellness, self-care and self-empowerment,” the brand says.
The face mask trio includes:
- ‘Strong Girls Make Waves’ Pink Neon Toning Peel-Off Mask—a refreshing aloe vera and grapefruit peel formulation, containing naturally occurring AHAs to help promote brightening and smoothing of skin through increasing the rate of cell renewal.
- Pore-Refining Pink Rose Cleansing Clay Mask—with a blend of cocoa and marula oil, this delightful mask has been specially formulated to soothe redness and blemishes to improve skin complexion. This formulation also contains willow bark, a natural source of salicylic acid.
- ‘You’ve Got This’ Pink Chocolate Purifying Clay Mask—contains a rich blend of cocoa butter, shea butter and sweet almond oil to lock moisture into the skin.
Gregory Butcher, a pioneer of the cruelty-free skincare movement, established the 7th Heaven brand during the 1980s. Now, 7th Heaven is a division of Montagne Jeunesse LTD., a UK based company specialized in making natural beauty products for over 30 years.
“I’m very excited to announce our ‘Be Good to Yourself range’ in collaboration with Barbie,” said Butcher. “The essence of both brands is to promote empowerment and wellness, leading to a match made in heaven.”
Ruth Henriquez, Head of Consumer Products, Mattel, says “We are delighted to be partnering with 7th Heaven to introduce this new range of products. This is an exciting new category launch for the Barbie brand with lots of opportunity.”
