Millions of protective N95 masks meant to limit the spread of COVID-19 are now available for free in lots of locations across the United States.
More than 400 million masks were released from the Strategic National Stockpile, federal health officials have said. Last month, they were shipped out to thousands of retail locations across the country, including pharmacies like Walgreens and CVS, and retail locations like Meijer stores in Michigan. Three free masks are available per person.
