To ensure we are equipping our readers with all the information they need, we will continue to report on all travel, safety, and COVID-related news that could impact a Disney Parks visit.

The world is over two years into the COVID-19 pandemic, and the situation continues to change on a daily basis. For the travel industry, 2022 is off to a busy start, with sold-out attendance in the Disney parks and record-breaking crowds at the airport.

Disney has been changing its health and safety policies a lot lately

This year has also brought a wave of new health and safety guidelines to the Disney parks and resorts. In Disney World, for example, face masks are no longer required in most places. On the other hand, Shanghai Disney is currently closed due to the pandemic. Now, Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa just changed its health and safety policy. Let’s take a look!

According to the Aulani website, fully vaccinated guests are no longer required to wear a face mask in most indoor locations at Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa. Additionally, face masks are not required for guests outdoors.

Note that Disney still strongly encourages unvaccinated guests to continue wearing a mask indoors.

This change comes shortly after the resort updated its health and safety policy on the Aulani website. As of March 26th, 2022, Hawaii’s Safe Travels program ended, and “there are no COVID-related travel requirements for arriving domestic guests,” according to the Aulani website.
